Chris Thomison pitches 6 2/3 innings, allows three hits, and strikes out 11 as the Hippos recover from last night's loss to beat the Yoemen, 3-0.

Elroy came uo to the pressbox last night and chatted with me right as the J.V. game was ending. I played his theme music for him since I haven't had the chance to so far this year. He thought it was hilarious.

As far as how he looks, he looked great. I think his braces are going to come off soon which is always a good thing. I heard from a reliable source that he might get an 'Invis-align' mouthpiece/retainer after they come out.

Cameron has 11 boys on the varsity. How can you compete at a 3a level with 11?

Right now Cameron has the edge for third over L.H. by a game.

If L.H. can make up a win in the second half, that would set up a playoff game to get in.

As far as beating Hutto, Cameron blew their best shot the other night.

We were playing the second half of two games in two days, coming off an eight inning loss to Taylor, and y'all had Burks on the bump for you.

Plus, we are not hitting the ball well the last couple of weeks. Hopefully we can hit the cages and straighten it out.
