Any news on the other District 30AAA games. Unfortunately the paper didn't have scores on Aransas Pass, Orange Grove, West Oso or Mathis in soccer.

This was a good win for the Lady Pirates. We weren't really 11 runs better than Ingleside but our girls were just having a great day hitting and Ingleside was making some uncharacteristic errors and the game got out of hand for them. The win gives the Sinton Lady Pirates a 7 - 0 record and if we win just one of our last three games we will get at least a tie for district but still represent as district champions since only Aransas Pass could tie us and we beat them twice for the tie breaker. If we win just two of the last three games we will be outright district champions. If we win our last three games we will have a perfect district record and be outright district champions.

Unfortunately, I don't know the district records for the other district teams. :(

I got word that West Oso beat Orange Grove in softball last night 9 to 5. It looks like there is a real fight in our District 30AAA for the third place playoff spot. Unfornately, I don't know the records.

Phil - Our girls PROVED that they are indeed 11 runs better than Ingleside last night!!!

Do you realize that they have only given up 2 total runs in district? Aransas Pass scored 1 run in each of our district games.

That is an amazing stat!! Congrats to the Lady Pirates & their coaching staff!!! Keep up the good work. 3 more games against Orange Grove, West Oso & Mathis. I think I like our chances repeating as district champions. :thumbsup:
