i was fortunate that son was oldest child. I went through baseball first and didn't know any better. Then softball with daughter. Softball a much faster moving game. Can sometimes play seven innings in not much over an hour. I've seen one inning last an hour in baseball.

I still enjoy baseball, but once u get involved with softball, baseball game just seems sooooo sloooowww.

Baseball u can lead off from base and that makes more of a time consuming as pitcher has to pause and look at the runner and sometimes throw over there.

I still greatly enjoy watching baseball - but having had a daughter playing softball for about 12 years now...... I totally agree with the baseball seeming slow thing.

I think it's because everything on the softball field is moved up so much closer. It feels like much more of an "in your face" thing than baseball.

YEA THAT SLAP/SLACH/DRAG/SACRIFICE/POWER/BUNT/SWING THING IS KINDA WEIRD. I DONT REALLY ENJOY SEEING 85% OF THE GIRLS DOING THAT THING. JUST GO TAKE YOUR HACS.

i love major league baseball but i think college and hs baseball is kind of boring. I really like to watch high school softball and the college world series when hot girls or ut is playing but im not really into the olympic softball or anything. But at the hs level id defintly take softball me and P4S talk softball every now and then on yahoo
