I am really starting to get pissed off about gas prices and how they always rise whenever something happens.

If anybody in the middle east farts it makes oil prices and gas prices rise. Markets and speculators control the price and when these events happen then they buy, buy, buy on the futures markets and run the prices up. No democrat or republican can control squat.

The dust-up between Britain and Iran is the trigger this time. What would happen if there was a Middle East snafu, a big summer travel season and a gulf hurricane at the same time? The perfect oil storm driving prices to 4.50 possibly.

"The Fat Cats always see that prices go up over holidays." said the Sinton GodFather while on his way upstairs to the snack bar for a cup of coffee.

It's not Bush's fault. Yes there are some avenues that he could explore for long term solutions to our foreign dependency on oil...however if he did that then it would cost even more money and the opposition would start screaming "look at the even bigger budget deficits!!!"

The problem is that no matter how much people complain about the gas prices, people are still going to buy it. So the poepl in control of the gas prices could care less what everybody else thinks becasue they have EVERYONE by the cajones. (Even the Democrats in Congress and President Bush)
