Count me in on it. I'm tired of watching the starters pitch a great game and our saver (not savior) blow it all away ::mad:

I think that his mind isn't right. hasn't been since Pujols.

Wow, put Brad Lidge's name in the google search engine and found something very interesting, he is also a cage fighter... he goes by the name "Brad 'Lights Out' Lidge"...

says his favorite move is the choke... it'll put your lights out...

also says if he could play in any other sports it'd be hockey...

I'm guessin' because it doesn't involve throwing a ball?

looks at this picture very closely:

http://www.theredcrush.com/files/images/HTA139101800_1024x768.preview.jpg

This is Pujols hitting a Lidge pitch (or is it)... if you study the angle of the bat and where the ball is in this picture, and also factor in that the ball was thrown in between the 80-105 mph range, you will see that it is impossible for Pujols' bat to have actually connected with the ball... on top of that, with how far the ball went (still not found), the ball would be coming apart had it been hit that hard... add to it that there was no sound of a bat hitting a ball on the pitch, and you have what I believe is something very amazing...

What's really happening:

Brad Lidge is so badass he developed the "boomerang" pitch... he throws the ball, and just before it gets to the plate it fakes out the hitter and shoots off to the outfield... what sucks is Lidge is throwing his newly-developed pitch too well, and it is going too far instead of giving his team the easy pop-out...

get that boomerang under control, Lidge...

from what i saw it appeared to be low and inside actually...looking at it, it doesnt appear to be a bad pitch however it does appear that the hitter had to know it was coming to hit a pitch that low over the fence....

NO, 96 mph fastball straight as a string, middle-in & down. Nady hit it well too. 1st pitch after 2 outs too.

Lidge is cooked, all mental now. Nolan Ryan & Roger Clemens have worked with him, mechanics, delivery, etc. Not the same guy as 2 years ago. NO command, slider not same out pitch, confidence is shaken. Should have dealt him when he had value.
