UT spring game

Was the UT spring FB game this past Saturday? If it was did anyone watch and how did they look?

Colt looked great. He is definately bigger and stonger.

Ben Wells, Chykie Brown, and Deon Beasley looked great also.

The backup quarterback position is a real tight race but I think Sherrod has the edge because he is a better passer right now than Chiles.

Passing game was great for the first teamers.

On my luch break i looked at my TV guide and they are showing it again Tues. at 20'clock on FSN.

They're wanting to use Chiles/Harris as the "change of pace" QB ala Tim Tebow at Florida in 2006.

FSN only showed 1 hour of coverage.

Chiles is an athlete like we all knew, but not a college passer. Harris did pretty well. Colt is much bigger & stronger. Looks like more "I" & power running sets too.

Defense will be a question mark. Young secondary, replacing both DEs, & LBs were avg. last year. DT group is strong. Talent is on campus so have to see how it shakes out.
