Actually, believe it or not, it was a 42-game DISTRICT winning streak broken :( I don't think that BC has lost a district game since moving down to 3A in 2000. Silsbee is a very good team to be reckon with. BC had way too many errors in the Silsbee matchup. BC allowed a walk-in-run (or two, can't remember) which brought the Tigers up to a 8-7 score, then a double brought home another Tiger. The final ended up being 9-7 Silsbee.

Good game tonight. Bowie vs. Decatur, dist. 8-3A.
I would think Bowie will be throwing draft prospect, UT signee, Brandon Workman. Decatur should be throwing their ace, Brad Oates. Oates is a good pitcher, but Workman brings it at about 92-93 with a decent hammer.

Nice to see fal still up there, Considering they team has played every game on the road. They may finally play there first home game this week... The field looks really nice espically for a small school like Fal...

You can take Liberty Hill off that list. We're now 0-3 in district and sitting on the outside of the playoff race, and with the way we're playing, we could be 0-4 after tomorrow night. It's just been a total collapse the last three games. We're playing very, very ugly baseball.

Don't worry p4s, the boys will be looking to make up for it the next time they play. They just need to stay focused and play hard.

Losing to Mathis is bad enough, but losing to Mathis at home would really be :hairpunk: :hairpunk: http://www.buzzlife.com/forums/images/smilies/puke2.gif

Give them some credit. They have been pretty good the past couple of years. The important thing is not to take any opponent lightly. I'm sure the boys will go into the next game with a different mentality and try to make fewer mistakes.
