yah... we call it Shrimp-Hole Lake... usually the big producer... didn't get any there that day... actually went to a hole we call the Gar-Hole, because there are just alligator gars there usually... that's where we hit it big... I renamed it the "Underdog Hole"...

If I hadn't already been on pace to get home at midnight...I would have stopped and taken some shots of it at night. It was BRIGHT last night with a lot of clarity. Hopefully I can see that again tonight and I'll take my bigger lens out to try and get some good photos! :)

The only difference in the picture that I can see is that the moon is not as distinct, and that's what makes the picture.

the coloring ~~ look at the original pic and see how vibrant the tree is in contrast to the sky and in your edit job the edges look like a soft pink and i guess that would look pretty cool without the moon, know what I mean? :thinking:

good point...let me play with that. If you look at the horzion you'll notice some difference in the colors too.
