Liberty Eylau 10
Pleasant Grove 1
Middlebrooks pitched a complete game, with 15 K's and 1 walk in the 7th.
LE is 2-0 in district 16-3A, 14-4 overall. Better start than last year, but that's not what counts.
Softball squeaked by PG, 2-1. Pitcher had a bad stomach bug, but made it through!!!! LE girls are undefeated in district so far, with a couple of close ones against Pittsburg and Mt Vernon.

Wow....what were Day's stats? I know Greenwood was better than their record. I was expecting a close game.

Day pitched four innings and allowed one hit. Brent Bollinger pitched the fifth and retired all three batters.

Day had 0 runs, 1 hit, 2 K's, 1 BB, 1 HP in 4 innings. Tigers played great defence behind him with 0 errors. The walk and the hit batter were thrown out trying to steal second.

Impressive....The Tigers have it going good. They're hitting well and the pitching has turn it ON. If they keep it up....look out!.

Day is a hell of a pitcher.....with a .706 ERA and just a Jr. Wow!
