The #2 ranked Bridge City Cardinals were defeated by the Silsbee Tigers Friday night, 9-7. This snapped a very impressive, 42 game, district winning streak.

The pitching fell apart for BC. It has been a bit suspect in district so far. John Dishon's bat is as cold as a cooler full of adult beverages.

baseball i think is the hardest to always perform at ur best every game for ex: .300 batting avg is considered good even though you fail 70% of the time to get a hit.:) . Playoff time though is no time to be in a slump.

Yo j_dog. The Cards need to make a big return against the Dawgs. Maybe they can find a pitcher to handle the Dawg bats.

Hey, I plan to be at the game! Any of you Orange Count folks coming up? We'll be sure to treat you right! :) Don't worry about the bats. Worry about T. Hart. He is the REAL DEAL.
