I always seem to get caught in an awkward moment at the end of conversations at work.

I told my landlord/boss on her way out of the office, "Have a good weekend!" And she replied, "I hope ya'll have a good one too!"

My reply.....pause....pause...."I sure hope we do too!" :doh:

2nd offence today:

A lady calls here about her asking about her statement, and tells me, "Oh, I sure do miss you now that I am not there everyday."
My reply.....pause....pause...."Trust me, you haven't missed much.":doh: :doh: :doh:

Why can't I just be normal and say thanks or something along those lines??

LOL...you are just light-hearted and trying to make someone smile....well, that, or you're like me and like to get the last word in.:D
