DVD Burning Software

I am thinking about purchasing NERO. Have any of yall used anything different that you like? I need a program that will allow me to create menu's and such!

My husbands' exact words about NERO v6 were "It's crap". He hasn't tried version 7. He uses Pinnacle 10 to edit. There's a bug that he worked with them for a couple of weeks that screws up the final DVD lots of times - it hangs up, gets all jumpy, static-y & just stops. After he's got it edited, he has used DVD Workshop (can download free for 30 day trial) to create the menus, burn the dvd's, etc. His new computer has Sonic My DVD that he said looks like it will be good for menus, etc, but he hasn't used it yet.

Maybe others have had better experiences. It just didn't work well for several projects he had going.
