I'm about 45 minutes from Austin and it's raining here...and it looks like it is raining that way also.

According to Statesman.com:
Tornado detected in Hays County
National Weather Service meteorologists said they had detected a tornado near Dripping Spring at 10:29 a.m. today.

just talked to Lil44 - they played 10 holes and "some guy came and told them to leave cause of bad weather" so they got a 18 hole rain-check..

Nice little course if you're getting out for a day...

I used to play it in high school.. Landing planes made putting a bugger though....

:( I guess I need to see what's going on. Youngest son just called from school and their track meet at Wimberley is cancelled. :(

Apparently there is another WIDE band of storms heading North from South Texas. Currently it is around San Marcos...

probably need to check on that - it was not a schedueld practice - just he and another guy went (no school today) - but just the same - they need to check on that I guess...........

They might be allowed to as individuals if the school isn't paying for it. For some reason I was thinking a player wasn't allowed to play the any of the state courses (outside of other tourneys) other than 1 practice round. I could be way off though...
