About to hire a maid to keep my place clean, but as far as maid etiquite goes, should I clean up some before she gets here? Place is pretty messy

without going into specific details....... you might wanna get the bathroom "presentable" (being the mother of 3 boys, I've seen it all)

I have never understood this. She/he is a maid -- they expect the place to be pretty messy. :confused:

If you are gonna clean up a little, why not clean all the way and use the money for beer & chips? :D

I dont know if I would hire a maid to clean up my own messes such as clothes laying around all over the house or dishes laying all over the place.

My wife sais I am the maid. This morning I MAID the bed, I MAID breakfast, and my wife MAID me take the kids to school.

I always made my kids put their things away where it was in it's place. The maid was there to CLEAN not PICK UP after them. That was always the rule at my house...still is.
