NAKED MAN ARRESTED — A 39-year-old Dallas man was arrested for fleeing and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle a few miles south of Decatur overnight. Authorities from several jurisdictions chased John Linard, driving a 1993 GMC van southbound in the northbound lane on U.S. 81/287, from Bowie to south of Decatur, where Linard ran from his vehicle in his birthday suit shortly before 3 a.m. He did not resist when he was arrested. He had a minor, self-inflicted cut across his forehead. Sheriff’s deputies said the man was taken to Wise County Jail.
