It is not just Perry. Many govenors of the State of Texas have been a part of it, it is just his time.

K thanks. I figured he wasn't the first governor to do this but I've never attended the tourney as the state tennis tournament always conincided with it and we missed seeing our girls teams play while in HS.

back many years ago when Perry was Ag Commisioner we were on the same flight from Austin to Houston. He and his contingent wnated me and a buddy to give up our seats on a southwest flight so they could all sit together. Guess what i told him?

"I'm feeling good today. The sky is blue, the birds are singing. Sure, I'll move back to coach. Have a nice day, Mr. Perry."

Of course he might have said something like "Certainly Sir! Glad to help out."

I'd tell him I would move for him as soon as the education system got fixed.

Or I'd tell him to suck it.

One of the two.

I can't help but think he said something like, "Mr. Governor, I am a registered voter and a ranking member of the Mile High Club. If you'd like to meet my in office in the back, I'm sure we could come to some sort of agreement that would mutually benefit both of our needs at the moment."

I'm going to hell and I know it. :D
