Good Lord those are terrible! I haven't heard anything about new helmets. I am hoping that those would never even be thought about if a new look was warranted.

Any change is good, when you are wanting to re-establish a program. If it's true, they will get the look right soon and results will follow. I'm not an Aggie, but Fran is on the brink of bringing them back to glory. That's not a popular opinion, but IMO it's true in College Station....

Nope, I haven't heard anything about any new helmets. The ones that we're wearing now are the same ones we were wearing last year, and that is maroon with the standard A&M logo on them. I will let ya'll know if we change to that, but I have yet to see any like that in the equipment room.

how??? It's too many random shades of brown and tan. It was a good idea...but it kinda seems like the center court logo was trying to "one up" this:

Also...I think it would be great if the border around the court was maroon instead of that light tan. It just looks so blah... :(

That is one beautiful court. As for the helmets, I am no Aggie fan but those are down right ugly. They should stick with the classic look. ;)

The center logo is great and the facility is still a great place to watch a game. However...the oranage in the paint and around the court sure isn't the same burnt orange that is used elsewhere. It's rather bland...

the outer parts of the A&M court almost look orange to me!

My 2 cents:

1. Helmet proposal is ugly, resembles Texas State. A&M is using 2 alternate logos these days but the helmets will stay the same.

2. I like A&M's court, maybe a little busy, but ok. The parquet floor is a nice touch.

3. Erwin Center is not a home court advantage, & the orange is different shades. It is a comfortable arena - I played hs ball there when we won state - but rather blah to be honest. Better for concerts than bball.
