Flat out amazing. I didn't know if anyone who wore the Purple and Gold in my lifetime could possibly eclipse Magic in terms of awe-inspiring performances, but Kobe has done it. I know it's driving those Kobe-haters nuts right about now and I Love it! This guy may not be the most valuable player, but he's the league's best player, hands down.

The Lakers are 4-6 in their last 10 games. Kobe can score all he wants but they still arent playing great.

The Lakers are 4-0 in their last 4 games. All were games that both Luke and Lamar played in. Without those two around, this streak doesn't happen. The Lakers are a different team with those two in the lineup due to their ability to see the floor.

They had a 7 game losing streak and since then Kobe has scored 65, 50, 60, and 50! They won all 4 of those games!

They are NBA players...I hope they have the ability to see the floor.....;)

4 in a row because they played

Portland 29-40
Minnesota 29-39
Memphis 17-52
New Orleans 31-38

Have you seen how they've played against mediocre opponents while those two were NOT in the lineup? It wasn't pretty. Luke and Lamar make a BIG difference in how LA plays. Lamar has led the team in rebounding during each of the last four games and Luke has led in assists during two of those contests. The Lakers reached something like 30-19 before those two had to sit on the sidelines with injuries. While they were out the team won 3 out of 15 games or thereabouts.

And being in the NBA doesn't grant one the ability to see the floor like Luke and Lamar do. They read a defense as well or better than any other forwards in this league do. As far as recent players, their ability to pass matches a level that Webber had during his prime.
