Although Gatesville the17 AAA District Champs only beat he 18AAA 3rd place team by 14 pts.

Gatesville was favored to win by a much smaller margin than 14 points -so way to go Hornets!! This is not last years Hornet team, they are not going to blow anybody away, but they have a strong desire to win and they do get up for big games (just ask China Spring) so watch out for them in the playoffs! Good Luck tonight China! Go 17AAA!

18AAA is definitely the stronger district, maybe one of the top 3 strongest in the STATE!!!!! Look out for Giddings and Cameron!!!!!!!

It looks like 17AAA had a little something to say about this subject.Like you better not take the defending state champ Hornets for granted and China Spring showed that same kind of pride in their win!!Go Hornets!!
