how the hell did they take off 1.1 seconds!!!!!!!

Adidas410s

if Law makes the layup or they get one of 5 rebounds at the end before the foul...then the clock doesn't matter...

I dunno but dont know if that would have made a huge difference, still wouldnt have been enough time to set anything up from half court inbounds.

Acie shouldn't of missed that layup. If they would of had a better pass before they took time off it wouldn't of mattered, they would of started the clock if the a&m guy would of caught the first pass. The time it would of took him to turn around and pass or dribble up court a second would of gone off anyways.

i think they took off 1.1 cause after the ball hit the memphis' guys hand it didnt hit the out of bounds line...it bounced in bounds and then didnt hit out of bounds til the second bounce.....BUT....the official clearly blew his whistle before that and so they should have had more time....

You can kinda--the refs took off at least half a second too much (my op--it shouldve been 2.9s left). That's a lot of time to get a little closer for a better shot.

yeah...I don't know how much exactly should've come off but I think it should've been more than .2 seconds..

Best I could tell that ball wasn't out of bounds until the guy behind the bench touched it. I'd assume that's when they decided the ball was out and why they took off 1.1 seconds. The ball wasn't out when the Memphis player touched it.

I dont knwo but did ya'll see the way Memphis players looked like. They looked trashy, Dorsey (the player that fouled out was sitting on the sideline without his jersey on and just a wife beater. Another player had a bunch of swirls in his hair. I play college football and even with wearing helmets we cant have facial hair or crazy hair and that is our choice as a team. They looked very trashy and I will probably never like watching them again.

NOT BEING ABLE TO GET A REBOUND ON ONE POSSESION OF THE GAME DECIDES WHETHER YOU SHOULD WIN OR LOSE???

they made the right call by takin a sec of but in the replay u saw the ref immediatly raise his hand indicating the ball was out of bounds(but it really wasnt) so that would take .2 sec off...so when they looked at in the replay can the overturn the official by saing no the ball didnt go out of bounds???

not getting one of 5 rebounds on the final possession does...

So does losing a few tenths of a second at the end of the game should decide it???

NO IT DOESNT,,,AND I NEVER SAID IT DID,,,BUT HAVING THOSE FEW TENTHS SURE DOES GIVE THE SHOOTER TIME TO GET A EXTRA DRIBBLE OR SO AND MYABE SET-UP FOR A BETTER SHOT

Had they had more time on the other side of the half court line then yeah, id say that cost them a really good shot at winning the game, but, it didnt. Comes down to way more than that brotha

They shouldn't of thrown such a bad pass right before. They probably saved timed doing this because the guy that was gonna catch the pass was way out of position to make anything happen.

Sorry, but the officials decided the game with the foul call at the end. A good official doesn't make that call. It didn't affect the shot.

Sure will. He just coached his final game in College Station. I don't see a way he'd turn down one of the premier jobs in the country. It'll be cool to see him finally get to coach at a big-time basketball school after all the years of hard work he's put into his profession.

It was because the ball bounced in bounds after the Memphis player touched. One of the CBS guys was on M&M this morning and he said that after talking to the refs after the game...they went back and pulled up other angles of the play and the refs were correct. The ball did bounce in bounds after the Memphis player touched it so more time went off the clock.

No they didn't.

A&M got screwed when they didn't make their shots down the stretch, started the 2nd half 0-6, when Acie "Cap'n Clutch" Law missed an easy layup, and when they let Memphis get 5 offensive rebounds at the end.

That's where A&M got "screwed".
