Heard a bond vote in store for Graham, with renovation of high school, new hoops gym, field turf... and heard a rumor of an indoor practice facility. (Weight Room with 40 yards of turf)

It's amazing what a few playoff wins can get added to the bond election ;)

Only 40 yards of turf? Doesn\'t even seem worth it.

What size is normal??

I thought most indoor practice facilities were appx. half a field!

I'm not positive, but I think ours is 60-70 yds. I think it's almost complete and ready for use.

That gas lease money sure comes in handy!

It's a big bond to renovate the high school, which needed it before I was born, build a softball field, and add on to the athletic facilities. They really need to do something about the softball thing quick otherwise that Title IX will get them.

this dont make any sense...well it does, but I dont see why they are JUST NOW getting field turf. A couple years back they spent a whole bunch of money to put new grass down on the entire field, only to turn around a couple years later and do it. They should of done it then instead of waiting to waste that money the tax payers have to pay, because its not like people were not griping about not doing it then. Graham's finest at their best!!!!

That is what they did in Forney, put in grass when they built the stadium 5 years ago and they just now voted to put turf in. Could of saved money on reseeding the grass, paying line painters and painting the field green when it was dead.
