I opened my husbands check this morning, and couldn't find it just now when I was getting ready to head to the bank.

Thank goodness I realized it before I left for lunch......I had thrown it in with all my "recycable" mail and it gets emptied while I am gone to lunch!!!

I would have had to wait a week before I could have gotten another one.

i hate handling money. Im glad amanda handles our money. When I handle the money I have no money at the end of the month. When amanda handles the money we can save thousands! haha

That is the EXACT opposite of girlfriend and I. Maybe it's because I work at a bank....

I think the lesson is how valuable direct deposit can be.

The "old-fashion" company my husband works for doesn't give us that option.

We used to have his check mailed to the house, but our "postlady" doesn't get here til about 6 or 7 in the evening. With it being sent to my office, I get it at 9:30 that morning.

I would LOVE to have Direct Deposit!!
