Well it was a good run for the three freshmen this year. Durant probably just played his last game. Even if he came back, I don't know that UT would be the favorite next season with Rick Barnes coaching this team. He can recruit his rear-end off, but he is one of the poorest in-game coaches in college basketball and I don't see UT taking the next step with him in control.

I'd rather lose in a blowout then at the buzzer or in OT.

Why is the short white guy playing? Did someone foul out?

When you're losing and nobody is scoring...you try something different.

I guess that isnt a very rich tradition. :)

Texas looked really flat most of the game. Guess they should have pressed a little earlier than when they were down by 17 with a few minutes left. Looked like it caused USC some problems.

Did anybody know ATM even had a basketball team before this year?

Augsitin just couldnt get it going today and we most of your offense comes from 3 guys and 1 guy has a really bad game its hard to win. But still a great run by this young team. I usually dont agree with everything JR2004 says but I just dont understand some of Barnes's coaching decisions

WHAT DOES THE AGGIES HAVE TO DO WITH ANY OF MY COMMENTS ON THIS THREAD TO MAKE YOU BRING UP THEIR NAME? I DO NOT CARE ABOUT TEXAS A&M BRINGING QB'S INTO THE NFL . IM NOT ONE OF THE PERSONS TO START TALKING BAD ABOUT A&M WHEN SOMBODY SAYS SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT UT. ( AND VICE VERSA),,,,APPERENTLY YOU ARE:rolleyes: GROW UP WITH THE UT AND TEXAS AGGIE STUFF

Let's see...

3 years ago 0-16 in conference under Melvin Watkins.

Billy G. arrives...
8-8 in conference (NIT)
then 10-6 in conference last year (lost in NCAA 2nd round on buzzer beater to LSU, who beat Texas & went to Final 4)
NOW...
13-3 in conference, currently in Sweet 16 & still playing in Billy G.'s 3rd year. Ranked all year, Top 10 majority of year & peaked at #6.

So yes, anyone who knows sports realizes what has transpired at Texas A&M. Maybe you should as well...

Clearly Gillispie's COY honors in his first year came from only the "Aggie nation".

Acie Law's Naismith Award nomination came only from the Aggie Nation since the run it. LOL

This is a big upset! Even bigger than UT's upset of USC in the Rose Bowl!

No one is doubting that they are good this year, I'm sure now alot of people know about a&ms basketball team now, nice try though. G$$ is acting like it's some historical event that every sports fan is supposed to know about.

Just leave it to bulldog from now on to present facts, yours are irrelevant.
