Yes he did. And was in the same backfield at SMU that Eric Dickerson was in. Great back. Great guy. That was one of the things I missed most about this year in football was not seeing him in the stands watching his son play.

Yes one sophomore. He was at all the JV games.

I was just curious. I saw him at Celina's track meet last week. There was a lady from another school going crazy asking some people if they saw the ex-football player that played for the Patriots.

And my work schedule sucked for the JV games this year. I did not see a single solitary one except driving by at the end of the game on my way home from work. YUK.:mad:

That's kind a cool. He was a good NFL back. And he is a good sports guy on the tube. I can vouch that he is one heck of a fan at the games.

he played at Houston Stratford won state beat Plano
I was coaching across the track at Spring Branch at the time
his SR year he was a stud
beat us 42-14 we couldn't stop him
his JR year we won 28-24 but he had 150
The year he went to SMU we kicked Stratford 52-0

he was also a great punter in hs and at SMU

I forgot about his punting prowess. You know that Ron Meyer loved that. How many people can actually say they have a 1000 yard back lining up to do the punting for them? Opposing DC's and Specialty coaches had to be nervous wrecks just hoping he would actually kick it and not just tuck it and run.
