no, they just haven't been outside much since the season started.....due to the weather. i think they have only played 17 games up to this point.

Baylor is extremely young (i counted 3 freshman and 3 soph. starting on sunday)...Playing Texas this early in the year sucked for us, but hopefully towards the end of the year we can get it together....I dunno if we can make regionals this year but the Bears should be set to have some good years coming up...

I'm really shocked by how far down Nebraska and Baylor are this year. It looks like Tech is coming back to the pack now and Ok State has some great pitching this year with a 3.45 team ERA so far through 28 games.

nebraska will still finish in the top 5 or 6 of the big XII (IMO).....they have played tough series with A&M, Tech, and Missouri.

Baylor is very young but also had the #1 ranked recruiting class nationally last year by Baseball America. Aaron MIller is a stud & Raynor Campbell & Dustin Dickerson are other good ones. Volz & Tolleson will be good pitchers too (but Tolleson is hurt & redshirting after hs injury). Baylor is hurting on the mound this year but will soon be very good. Miller & Campbell played on the same select team as my nephew & they can play (Miller is a great hitter who turned down pro $$). Give it time...

OK State is a team to watch this year if pitching holds up. Great offensive team w/ Mangini, etc. Big 12 will be a tight race.

liked said several times, baylor is very young....not to mention they had to start the big 12 season off with texas and oklahoma state....we play OU this weekend, i'll be happy if we can get 2 of 3 there.....the bears will get better through the year and the back end of their big 12 schedule is easier than the front end, so hopefully they can come back to the middle by the end of the year....the bears should be very good again the next several years after this group goes through it's growing pains...

A&M (5-4) needs to take 2/3 from Tech minimum because Texas & OK State are gaining some ground. Good luck!

I hope I am wrong, but I think OK State will win the league if pitching holds up. Really strong offensive team...

Baylor and OU split their doubleheader today....Sooners won the first game 5-4 and the Bears won the second 5-2....I'll take 2 outa 3 for the Bears this weekend, they still have a ways to go but that was a good series win for them...

It happens. Alaniz entered the game tied for the lead nationally in wins. Texas & A&M both are playing in some terrible weather conditions in Kansas & Lubbock(as are their opponents too).
