The weather is absolutely perfect. It was 75 and a light breeze with very few clouds in the sky. The girl "made me" (she really did) play golf once while we were out here and it was worth it.

We played at Presidio Golf Club. It opened in 1897 as an old military base and 3 Presidents have played the course. In 1995, Arnold Palmer renovated the course and it has since been opened to the public. This view is from the side of the 18th fairway.

This picture is from my tee shot on the 18th hole. I shot 85 today. That included an 8 on the par 4 1st hole after I pulled my tee shot behind trees on a dogleg right and didn't realize that the rough in northern California is REAL rough. You can't just snap hook a 3 iron around the trees. You have to take your medicine, punch it out all the way to the fairway, and move on to the next shot. It took me a hole to learn that.

Hey Ad did you know the silent movie Greed takes place mostly in San Francisco in the early part of the 20th century.

Most of the Dirty Harry movies with Clint Eastwood took place in San Francisco.
