I dont think Ive ever seen Ferris is a State Poll...until now.....interesting...

In the mid to early 90's there were good in hoops but thats about it

Liberty Eylau won the New Boston tournament last weekend, 4 W's, 1 L. One of the wins was a 1-0, 8-inning nailbiter over Texas High, which was enjoyable after losing to them 1-0 in 18 innings last week. New Boston was in LE's district last year, but dropped to 2A this year; they were our one loss, 2-0. Errors, errors will get you - and not hitting the ball! But NB has a good pitcher, senior Becca Collom.
Tonight Liberty Eylau played 4A Sulphur Springs and won, 4-0. Our starting catcher was hurt and starting 2B sick, but both should be back for the start of district Friday at Mt Vernon.
Luckily the rain held off.

Congrats on the win Lady Leps. I really wish we had been able to play our game today. :( Had too much rain yesterday and this morning. Still rain in the forecast tonight. Hopefully, it'll stay away. Field needs to dry out.

Hey P4S, didn't Ingleside attend the same tournament at Mira's and lost like 3 or 4 games....something like that? I know we went 7-1 at the same tournament. I don't understand how they can be ranked higher than us......I guess they don't really look at the quaility of teams that each of us played....because I will say for sure that we have had a tougher schedule.

yes they were. i don't know how many games they won or lost though. i don't know who they have played up to this point, but yes I'd venture to say that we have had a tougher schedule.

guess we have to beat Sinton to break the top 20...:p

we've only got 4 losses to quality 4A and 5A teams...we are at 12-4 currently. We have a 5A Tournament Title "Brownsville Tourney" and a 5A Tournament Consolation Title "Weslaco Tourney"...we also know how to jump through hoops of fire:D

this is more a "list of really good teams" vs. a poll ........... its just on guy's opinion .......... heck, he has teams listed twice in the same poll, very careless

saw Ferris in the Arlington High tourny - they're pretty good for 3A


my first game in that tourney was Dumas v. Amarillo Hi, they are 47 miles apart but drove 330 miles to end up playing each other

They are that good which is why they are rated that high. Also Riflearm is coaching there.

exactly and while I appreciate his efforts he only has what coaches send him to base his "list of really good teams" on.
