I was a band nerd. That is why I thought it was so ironic that I had a son that ended up all district/all state in football. He,also, won district in shotput 3 years and discus 2 years. wink

I think Jeremy Audas of Greenwood and Misael Iracheta of Port Isabel were both All-Staters. I've seen them post a couple of times.

If so, where from, and what honors did you get?Bigchamp, QBKilla was TSWA all-state this year and Defensive MVP of 22-3A, as well as being selected as an all-star for the Texas team in the TEX/LA Bayou Bowl this summer. I haven't seen him in here a whole lot lately... that slacker! :D

EXCARDSMOM76, I think I met your son and husband at the BC meet and then again at the BH meet. Both were extremely nice and I know you guys are proud of that fine son.

I was honorable mention in district, but got first team all state in football, and i got all district 1st team shortstop in baseball, and all state pitcher. It was messed up this year.

I was First Team All-District and Second Team Academic All State. You didn't say what kinda All State! But I can hold my claim to fame that I was once All-State! That's something I will never forget.

i wasnt all state, but i am a state champion, and its not for sports... hehe... i used my brain for my 8 state gold medals, among other regional medals. :D

i didnt have any honors last year, even tho i play receiver and free safety, i deepsnap, too bad they dont give honors for that, cuz i have very very fast accurate snaps...but yall ppl from greenwood and snyder, that wasnt me who messed up on those snaps when we played yall at the beginning of last season, i got moved up after we lost to snyder

Toby, i was a tight end. I played linebacker and safety on defense, but i got all state as a tightend.
