I say Cameron makes it closer than people think... I'd still take Marlin...

lets make up a scenario. marlin beat rockdale 49-0. rockdale beat lorena by i think 7. marlin beat lorena by 27 . it was realy 35 4th otr td called back for what i dont know well anyways lorena beat cameron 55-0. now cameron lost to rockdale by 4 to caldwell by 4 and beat troy by 14.

final total marlin 45 points ahead in my mind. but you must remember marlin and cameron has always been close. the last 2 times we played have been ot games. im not gone put marlin up by 45 or 50 because you never know

Week 1 in district 27-3A Last Year: Yoakum 18 Gonzales 10

Week 2 in district 27-3A last year: Cuero 10 Yoakum 3

So by your system, Cuero should beat Gonzales by about 15 or so?

Week 4 in district 27-3A last year: Gonzales 43 Cuero 11

IF Cameron always plays Marlin close, than put your system to the side... Marlin may beat Cameron by 50, but knowing Cameron's tradition and knowing that Cameron always play Marlin close, I'll say that they (Cameron) won't lose like that...

Marlin all the way. Cameron has a good team. I just feel that Marlin is better, but every Friday
is different. It will take a lot of work this week by the yoeman if they want to win.

28-0 Marlin

No, here is how it is. Now Rockdale did beat Cameron. Cameron played a hell of a game, and rockdeale had a td called back.... anyway here s the truth. Cameron can match up with Marlins speed, Camerons secondary might be able to contribute, but the fact is Cameron can't tackle. That means Tank is gonna have a field day. Also if their defense is out there for more then half the game, its going to be ugly. The key here is that Cameron is a weak tackeling team. Marlin 55-3. (cameron wants to make sure marlin gets scored on in district)

so keep it real you are saying that i could make my prediction about tank like i did aganist caldwell. here goes (TANK IS GOING TO EXPLODE)

probably so Williams had 230 yards against them and they pulled him early in the fourth cause of cramps.

When these two teams meet, no matter the records, it's a backyard brawl, so don't assume the scores, win, or even the losses, Cameron and Marlin are two teams with great respect for one another, and niether team can just count the other out, no matter what the first 9 games indicate, and if Marlin goes into this game thinking Cameron is a push over then remember this Bulldogs, we went into a Bellville game thinking they were a push over, and look what happen, it cost us a state championship. So Work hard in practice this week and continue to work toward a win, not keeping opponents from scoring, that's not our goal right now, the state championship is sweeter that 15 shut-outs.

Cameron does have the speed to match up with anybody but they have no size and they can not stop the run. I believe Cameron will score once or twice but Marlin will probably score on 80% of their possessions.

Final: Marlin 49 Cameron 14.

In Marlin's 5 victories this season, they have outscored their opponents 178-0. In district, they have outscored their opponents 147-0. I don't see that trend changing. Marlin wins 42-0.

IMO, I think Marlin is one of the top teams in 3A, in spite of their record.

I think Marlin will win but Cameron is going to try really hard to score so that Marlin has been scored on. Marlin 49-3

how far did cameron go last year? or did they even make it to the playoffs? Are they big size wise and do they pass or run better? I'm asking cuz i havent seen them play I have heard some about them. The only time I have seen them was during a 7 on 7 tourn. in rounrock and they had one white boy who was huge he was one crazy S*B so i was wondering if yall could tell me about them.

Cameron made it to the 2nd round last year before falling to Jasper. Billy Pittman was Cameron's team last year. By the looks of their record this year, they haven't found anyone to replace him yet. That's got to be a tough turn-around. Best of luck to Cameron in the future.

Pittman was their QB. I think Cameron is 1-8 this year.

Bulldogvet your talking about Ross Watson. He's a real good friend of mine even though hes from Cameron. He was being recruited by Nebraska and others but he got in some trouble in class, and was suspended that week the scouts from NEB came to watch him. He plays for Blinn now and Starts their nickel package nose guard. Yeah but anyway Ross Watson, and lol I bet he was acting crazy out there, he's a maniac!

watson was a good hs player, very physical, very strong, very quick for his size, but also very unsound as a defensive lineman, not nebraska good by any means,, maybe and just maybe a d2 player, by no means a d1 prospect, and this is from someone that hated to see him against my team

Marlin will be on their own turf, it will be Parent's night and the Bulldogs really want to win and to win not scored upon,to win district again! Cameron will give us a good fight, but hopefully not good enough! It will no doubt be a great game to watch! The Bulldogs will be waiting to show the Yoeman how to play real football! :p GO DOGS!!! wink

WHY DIDT he go d1. he was a superstar. i remember 1 play where are center and guard was double teaming him when he broke through both other blocs in a flash went to sack our qb jeremy modkins. at the time jeremy ran like a 4,5 40. i think hes faster now at tcu but anyways he grabbed jeremy by his jersey, but get this he was on his kness and jeremy had took off running. he grabbed jeremy and slung him behind him. it was a great play do u know why he did not go d1

hey keep it real (stupid) see chris rock here
hahaha,, couldn't resist,

yeah he might have gotten a questionaire or a phone call from those two schools, but give me a break, a 6'1 235-250lb dt would play what position at nebraska? what position at atm? mlb? not with his speed,, granted he was one heckuva hs player, and he could wreak havoc, but not against a sound D1 offensive line, he would have gotten thrown around like a rag doll, i hope the best for the man,, he was a tremendous competitor, but a d1 player? no,,, billy on the other hand,,, yes,, very much so,,, hell we will all probably see billy in the league one day and say we played against him or coached against him and want to see him flourish,, all i know is that 183a is one tough district, with some good coaches, and some good players
