They would of made the tournament, wouldn't of been nearly as good though.

i think the kid is as good as they come, but he will be eaten alive in the nba untill he gets bigger, he is tiny.

He does need to gain weight and add muscle. He will get banged around badly in the NBA.

He isn't that small, 6-9 225. Josh Howard is 6-7 210. The NBA isn't nearly as physical as college anyways.

size will come though, not too many have the size coming early from college.....except LeBron, who is just a freak of nature and skipped the whole college experience.

Not that small? I'm 6'0" 225, and I'm not that big all things considered.

They'd have been middle of the pack in the Big 12 IMO. There are quite a few games they won simply because Durant put them on his back.

I dont think they would have made the tournament. I posted in another thread how even Barnes thinks they would be an 8-8 squad at best without him. They would have to have a completely different gameplan than they have now with Pittman, Atchley, and Hill playing down low. I dont think they would have stood a chance in the Big 12 with those guys as their starting big men. Durant takes a TON of weight off of Abrams and Augustin also.
