Knowing nothing but what I have read on the other teams (besides Wylie) tell me about the other 3. It looks like Aransas Pass has some height but can they play? I see where they played HJ earlier int he season and got destroyed. IS HJ that good? Whats Chapel Hill have?

I've not seen them play, but I understand that HJ has a VERY good team.

Aransas Pass is the "weak sister" of the field as usual for region 4... Don't know much on Wylie but HJ is a really solid well coached team with a lot of talent... Chapel Hill can put some points on the board but there by no means unbeatable... i dont think there an outstanding team really

Im predicting and HJ Wylie final with Hardin Jefferson bringing back the state title

When I was a freshman in high school we had a coach there for one year named Bill Shaw whose favorite play to run was called Buna. :)

Coach Shaw looked EXACTLY like Dr. Red Duke. I don't know how many of y'all remember him, but I saw him on the Austin station broadcasts a lot as a kid when there were doing health segments and Coach Shaw looks like his long-lost twin.

H-J wants to run and keep a lightning-fast pace going by pressing end-to-end all 32 minutes. I personally think the state champion is coming out of the Chapel Hill and H-J game, but you never know. Wylie could pull off a big surprise and win it since they should have an easy go of it against AP.

I also looked at H-J's scores and they beat AP 88-59 earlier this season. Wylie should have no trouble with their semi-final match-up.

The state tourney is seeded by the UIL. Wylie is the #1 seed and playing Aransas Pass who is the 4th seed. I believe HJ is the #3 seed?
