Today in Sinton. Hope the Pirates make a better showing this time. Good competition only makes the team better for the real season to come (district and the playoffs). Go Pirates!!

I agree Vrabird. :) When was the last time Sinton defeated Calallen? I honestly cannot remembe when, or even if.

I know we beat them in '89 in a warmup game for the playoffs. Don't know about any since then.

We always seem to play Sinton several times a year, at least we have recently.

Calallen has aways won by pretty good margins, from what I can remember. I don't know how important this matchup is for Calallen, but I've always thought that is a good experience for our team to play a class act team like the Wildcats. These guys are just constantly good, year in and year out.

True. We aren't too shabby either. I don't know what it is about Calallen though - maybe it's a mental block. :thinking:

Well, Moody did rip them on new on Feb 24 at the Robstown tournament. The Caller Times says the Trojans won 18-4 the first time they played.

Sinton is also in Calallen Tourney this weekend. Maybe they will meet again in championship!!!

Well, I guess that's one less thing to do tonight. I was planning on stopping by the field after the UT/TAMUCC game.

The game was moved to next monday 7:00. But the JV and Freshman still play in Calallen today.

What a bummer!!! I don't have tickets to the UT game. Heard there were only berm seats left at whataburger field.
