I truly believe Bo was the best athlete this country has ever produced.

Evidently my daughters boyfriend does to....his real name is "Jonathan" but when he was younger he told everyone he wanted to go by the nickname "Bo" in honor of his all time favorite athlete....he's 20 now and that's all anyone calls him.

I don't know. Jim Thorpe was pretty good. He was before the NFL was formed.

LOL! Maybe that was another reason.:) (Although personally, I don't think Jonathan is a bad name).

when I was a kid I wrote his name on one of my footballs with a sharpie and told my step-brothers that he really autographed it...

He is the best athlete I have ever seen. My wife and kids went to a Ranger game three years ago and they were having a silent auction for charity. She bought me an autographed Bo Jackson picture batting in his Royals uniform. I just found out a week or so ago that she paid $450 for it. It is haging on the wall beside my desk (as I type this) right next to my hole in one plaque (my two most valued possessions).

Who-dun-it!!?

He would have made less money.
