left side of that infield worries me a bit...Drew has a LOT to prove, and Ensberg needs to rebound big time!

I wanted Jhonny Peralta as a backup (expecting a huge bounce-back this year), but he was taken a few picks before me and I was stuck with Gomes. I also wanted Edwin Encarnacion as a backup 3B, but the same thing happened.

I wound up getting Alex Gordon instead. Baseball America's number two minor league prospect in the nation. Mark Teahen's been taking a lot of reps in the OF, so they're saying Gordon may be the opening day starter the hot corner. I figured 80/25/90/20 SB's/.280 would be be some conservative expectations and would provide some depth there.

If both falter, I've got a couple of other guys on my watch list, but SS is still my biggest concern.

wow Keith...that's a solid team...prolly could use a better #3 OF, but then again, in a 14 team league I imagine the pickings get pretty slim...just wait for Sammy Sosa to hit the waiver wire and nab him!

Dre, you have a great pitching staff.... just one problem. Papelbon's supposed to be the number three or four starter this year. You still need another reliever, but there are still a few out there. If you want me to point you in the right direction send me a PM, or I may be willing to trade.

SintonFan_inAustin

Papelbon is slotted in as the 4th starter and big mistake by Red Soxs as he was almost automatic in saves last year. He be back there once Red Soxs relievers blow the leads in the 8th and 9th innings this year;)

I don't know. He was a huge prospect and the only reason they put him back there last year was because they wanted to find a way to get him into the lineup. They've got Brendan Donnelly and Joel Pineiro back there fighting for a spot, and I honestly think that one of those two will make it worthwhile for the Terry Francona to keep Papelbon as a starter. I think he's a legit threat for a 3.50 ERA and double digit wins as a full-timer.

thats actually a very good lineup and pitching also.

Putz is prounce "puts" . He is Seattle Mariners closer and he had 36 saves last year in 43 save opportunities. He pitched 78 innings and had 104 strikeouts which is excellent.
