no, no one has ever won the boys football, basketball, and baseball titles.

I don't believe anyone has ever won the girls sweep either.

Poth's girls teams have had a winning program in alll sports even in the 80s

They had sister Heidi and Gwen Gillingham in the late 80s going to state in volleyball and Basketball

The lost to East Bernard when whe won 3 straight state titles 88-90

They enjoy success year in and year out

Of course this all starts at the junior high level and carries over

Not many schools girls programs can stack up with Poth, all classifications included

They have winning traditon and the community expects nothing less.

I've been out of pocket the last couple of days but I did get quarterly updates from my home girl on the state championship game! My Pirettes pulled out a tough win over Winnsboro in double OT 72-70. Whitney Wehmeyer got MVP and Lauren Waclawczyk got all state. :D

WOS87 would know...

Softball has only had an official state tournament since 1993 and no team has swept all 3 girls sports titles (Softball, volleyball and basketball). Only a few have even won 2.

Schools that have won the Girls Basketball and Volleyball titles in the same year

1993 Austin Westlake (4A)
1994 Amarillo (5A)
1994 Dripping Springs (3A)
1997 Poth (2A)
2006 Poth (2A)

Duncanville has probably come the closest to winning the UIL equivalent of a Grand Slam. In the past 21 years they have won a title in every major UIL team sport except softball.

I'm probably missing a few but here are most of them...

Boys Soccer - 1986
Girls Soccer - 1987, 1990
Boys Basketball - 1991
Girls Basketball - 1976, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1997, 2003
