Wow! I wonder how many other District 3rd place teams are in the state tourny. Coach Hayes knows basketball!

You can pretty much bank on District 30 being in the mix every year.

Before '94, I don't have all the Region IV reps, just the ones from our district. But I do know how far District 30 (back then known as District 29... Aransas Pass, West Oso, Sinton, Rockport-Fulton, etc.) made it.

1993- Rockport-Fulton- Regional Finals
1992- Odem- Regional Semis
1991- Aransas Pass/West Oso- both made Regional Semis
1990- Sinton- Regional Final
1989- ???? Nobody seems to know
1988- CC West Oso- State Finals
1987- ???? Nobody seems to know
1986- CC West Oso- State Semis
1985- Ingleside- State Semis


Congrats, AP. Way to keep the streak alive. Let's see if we can win it this year.

Congratulations to AP and a great game by Gonzales. I knew Gonzales would be tough because they beat Cuero and I saw Cuero's players when they were young a few years ago and I knew that it would take a great team to beat them. Win State AP!!
