Probably a wise decision. Jake was exciting in his day, but he has certainly lost a step or two in recent years. I don't think things would have been pretty for Jake from here on in in the NFL.

Where did you see this? I'm hearing he's "comtemplating" retirement (primarily because he doesn't want to play for the Bucs)

it will only be a matter of time before he pulls a roger clemens to come play for houston, which would make perfect sense. he is only 32.

Sad to see him go, but ultimately it's his decision. I think he may have had a couple of years left in him.
