I was just wondering, me and my cousin were playing Halo the other day and thought about trying to make one.

you do realize that there is a difference in the "halo" world and the real world right?

All the time. Inbetween playing with barbies and watching Rainbow Brite.

Pretty much an everyday affair. ;)

lol that would be sweet to be able to jump 10 feet in the air and have unlimited lives.. But seriously i've seen some pretty powerful potato launchers but never anything w/ real rockets

We used to make rocket launchers of our sodas back in high school. Get a bottle of soda, and throw it around, kick it, shake it up, etc. Then, ever so slowly, twist the cap off with your thumb and watch the explosion. Fun stuff. A variation is to shake up the soda, then loosen the cap slightly. Complete the launch by jumping on the end of the bottle. Winners in distance and blast radius can be awarded with a new soda.

They had an article in Popular Mechanics a couple of months ago about a potato launcher....it sounded like it would have been fun, but I never got around to trying it. Here is a link...
