Besides having the Little League World Championship on last night ESPN also had a tribute to Herb Brooks which was great. It also repeated the great 1980 Winter Olymphic hockey game when the USA beat the Soviet Union 4 to 3 in one of the greatest upsets in the history of sports and one of the USA's greatest victory. It was a great win and would have been like if Canada got a bunch of college students and went out and beat Tampa Bay. It was also great because it made people proud of being an American and inproved the mood of the Country which was very gloomy at that time. Inflation was out of control and the Iran hostage situation was very frustrating. It was Herb Brooks who brought that team together and coached them to that great victory. Tragically he died in a car accident a few days ago but at one time he helped give the American people a tremendous boost in American pride at a time when it was badly needed. We will miss you Coach. Thank you. Rest in Peace.
