Bravery and Valor in the Armed Forces

I am extremely awed by the gallantry and valor displayed by the men and women or our armed forces, especially when one of them goes "above and beyond the call of duty" and I read the accounts of their heroic actions. Their love for their fellow man and devotion to duty and our country is absolutely amazing. I sometimes watch "Dog Fights" on the History channel which is a program that re-enacts many of the famous aerial combat scenarios in each war. It is re-created using computer animations and some live footage, and sometimes is narrated by the pilot involved in the dogfight themselves. I am continually absolutely amazed by the bravery, ingenuity, and gallantry of these men and women.
