The only team picked by DCTF to win their district that has less than 400 students was Ballinger (354).

Don't know for SURE, Vet93, but that sounds like TRADITION talking. Sounds like Dave knows better than to pick against Ballinger. wink

Hey Guys, I am home. And I thought I would pick up where I left off. :D

You make an interesting point Vet, however the median enrollment number in 3A is 622 not 400. And if you count both sides of that number, Ole Dave has 18 over 622 and 14 under 622. And last season it ended up 16 over and 16 under. HMMMMMM

PPHSfan...Glad you are back in the saddle...you kill me!! I really think that we are pretty close in our thoughts on this issue in general. I have been trying to get you to understand that having a significant enrollment advantage can be a tremendous advantage on the field and you are trying to convince me that tradition and coaching account for much more than I am giving them credit for. Believe me...I take pride in the fact that through the years that Ballinger has held its own being a low enrollment 3A team. However...I have also seen first hand where a school that has 7 or 800 kids can have an advantage over a team that has 3 or 400.
