Sandcrabs get playoff rematch with Edcouch-Elsa

Calhoun's Tyler McAfee had an interesting observation following the Sandcrabs' 29-27 Class 4A bi-district playoff win over San Antonio South San on Wednesday night at the South San gym.
"Tyler told me his first football playoff game was like a basketball game and his first basketball playoff game was like a football game," Calhoun coach Jon House said.
The Sandcrabs got their first football playoff win since 1960 with a 76-47 bi-district victory over Uvalde and earned their first basketball playoff win since 1992 by scoring less points than the football team scored in eight of its 12 games.
