8 a.m. - Industrial vs. Wimberley

10:15 - West Columbia vs. Rockport

12:30 - Van Vleck vs. Floresville

2:45 - Wimberley vs. Rockport

5:00 - Industrial vs. West Columbia

7:15 - Cuero vs. Floresville

2/23/07 Friday schedules includes:

8 a.m. - Cuero vs. Van Vleck

10:15 - Floresville vs. Sheppard

12:30 - Rockport vs. Industrial

2:45 - Sheppard vs. Van Vleck

5:00 - West Columbia vs. Wimberley

7:15 - Cuero vs. Sheppard

2/24/07 Saturday schedule includes:

10 a.m. - Semi-final #1 1st (Pool A) vs. 2nd (Pool B)

12:20 - Semi-final #1 1st (Pool B) vs. 2nd (Pool A)

2:40 - Consolation B (4th Pool A and B)

4:00 - Consolation A (3rd Pool A and B)

6:30 - Championship (Winner of Semi-final games)

Wimberley 6 Industrial 3 (I think that was the score)

Rockport 6 West Columbia Roughnecks 4 (I think)

I might be off on the scores but I am sure that Wimberley and Rockport won........ will post anything else if I hear it... when I left - the Rockport WC game was just over (12:50) and Van Vleck and Floresville were warming up

I'd say Cuero's got a shot. Your players are usually a little more rested than the other teams in your home tournament. Coach is usually frazzled, but the players often perform well at their own tournament.

met him at beginning of school year and sounded like a good coach for whatever he would be coaching...after 1st game the other night, he don't take no $hit...he ain't like last years' coach...think he got his $hit together...should be a pretty good year for Gobbler Baseball...

Industrial beat Sheppard - something like 8 to 6 (I really dont' remember but the Cobras did win)

Cuero beat Rockport 9-8 - we were up 7-1 at one point and let them slip back up - and they tied us in the top of the 7th - we scored on the ole squeeze play and won....... Great game by both teams..

PS the Gobbler Golf Team came in 3rd at the Border Olympics in Laredo..... Gobbler Steven Bell won 3rd as an Individual Medalist :clap: :clap:

yes it does, We won the tourney...... and I can relate to being out in the sun too long..... jeez.... I forgot how gritty it feels to be in the wind and sun all day long....... YUCK - but I hate to complain, it was a gorgeous day out.........

Yep, I know at least one pitcher is on the basketball team, and one other guy I know has played before, don't know if he will this year.
