Does anyone have an opinion or feel for this game. Sinton really needs to jump on them early since they are playing in West Oso. Would be a confidence builder to start district play with a win. Go Pirates!

I think Sinton has a very good chance in this one. But, the Pirates must hang on to the ball and make some good drives to let the D rest. If they do, we'll be ok.

Go Pirates!Vrabird, I agree that Sinton needs to jump on them early. With a week off, and a case of food poisoning from bad turkey still fresh in their mouth, I think they will do just that. West Oso might have the most talent in the district but Sinton has that awesome tradition. Sinton by seven.

IF they can play mistake free football they have a very good chance at beating West Oso. IF they continue to have the same problems we've been seeing the past few weeks then it could be another long night for our defense. Hope it is a safe, clean game w/ a PIRATE VICTORY!! GO PIRATES!! :mad:

If they can hang on to the ball and force some turnovers they'll be okay.If not,It's gonna be long night.That bein said I rate it a toss-up.

There's some interesting stats here. West oso has a 4-1 record. They have played two 2A and three 3A schools with a combined record of 10-14. Sinton is 1-4. They have played four 3A schools and one 4A. The combined records of these teams are 19-6. This is a huge disparity in the level of competition. The pre-district schedule for the Pirates will serve them well for the rest of the season. Pirates will take this one :) , but it won't be easy.

Sinton has to play mistake free and mix it up on offense. The passing game has to click too to be able to run on West Oso. We'll see what happens. Go Pirates!!!

jump on west oso early and they will get down and they will start jumping on each other. thats what they did against yoakum. they also tend to take off a play here and there. but if they get fired up look out because they do have talent.
