Hutto won by about 20 points. Not sure of the exact score. Hutto Hippos will play Gatesville Hornets Wednesday night in Burnet.

Hutto actually won by 31. The final was 67-36!!! :D :D

way to go hippos! I figured Hutto won cause I hadnt heard from that Rockdale guy that posted the last score in which Rockdale won

I'm still here. The Tigers just couldn't get the shots to fall. Hippo's had a great night. That #4 is a great player. Great height, excellent range and your best ball handler. He should get a look from someone.

When do the Hippo's play and who?

I went and saw the game, and Rockdale just couldn't get into a rhythm. Poor free throw shooting, missed lay-ups, and domination under the basket by the Hippos was the cause of the result. I've never seen Rockdale get dominated like that in hoops. It was pretty disappointing for those senior boys, all five of whom were my teammates last year.

I dont think Hutto will get past a very solid Gatesville team in the first round

Gatesville came out of a very tough district. Should be an interesting game. How will Fairfield fair??

How will Fairfield fair?? im expecting that we handle hudson on thursday then a top ten matchup with lh in the second round that will be tough. We have what it takes to go all the way but we will just have to see how it shakes out

Coach Edwards does a great job year after year in Gatesville. His teams usually aren't that athletic, but they play smart and often beat the more athletic teams in the district. He's probably one of the best head coaches in Class 3A in my opinion.
