I'm thinking of taking a small road trip.

Which town would be better to visit?

I'm a little biased not liking Snyder and being from Sweetwater but as far as road trips go, both would blow hairy..., well I can't exactly say but you know what I mean. I'd wait a couple weeks and go to the Roundup in Sweetwater. Always good times there.

I have only been to Snyder for games....I have no idea what other "entertainment" Snyder has to offer.

The "Round-up" idea is a good one though. I am going to try and make it myself and nab StangGirl2007 from school (before her Government class starts evidently!!):D

You GOTTA eat at Allens if you go to Sweetwater though!!!

What day is the roundup in Sweetwater?

And what's better, the Sweetwater roundup or the San Patricio races?

It's a big festival the week of St. Patrick's day in the town of San Patricio (small ghost town south of Sinton that used to be really important to the point that there was a Texas Revolution battle there) where everything centers on rattlesnakes including the World Championship rattlesnake races.
