3A Girls basketball
Liberty Eylau 63 Crandall 33
LE will play Athens Wednesday in Longview. Athens beat Texarkana Pleasant Grove 62-57 to advance. In 16-3A, LE was district champion, with Mount Vernon second, and Pleasant Grove 3rd. Mount Vernon also advanced with a win.

LE had a bye in the first round, this was the second. Winning Wednesday will put us in the regionals at Commerce. I expect Mount Vernon and Kennedale to be there. MV was very strong in our district (only losses were to LE) and they are only getting better. Softball game today at 3 - boy, is it windy in txk today. Just watched the dog blow by the patio. Really.
