What an ugly game!

Rockets lead 55-50, late 3Q.

It's starting to get good.

Turning in to the T-Mac and Dirk show.

Hard to fully judge Houston until Yao returns. With him, McGrady, & a healthy Wells, they could be dangerous. Houston does play good defense, as evidenced tonight & all year. Just need a little more O, so maybe Yao can be that guy again.

Dallas is good, & Dirk is a great bball player. The West is very good for sure.

The Rockets and Mavs did everything they could to take basketball back to the pre-shot clock era tonight.

Dallas missed Devan George a lot. Dallas played their worst game in over a month and still beat Houston at Houston. Rocket fans can take comfort in knowing that the Rockets did beat Dallas once this season.

I guess the Rocket's had nothing to do with the Mav's bad game.

And with 3 minutes to go in the third the Lakers and Cavs have scored as many as the game before them did in 48 minutes...

I do recall the Mavs a few years ago putting up 84 in the first half of a game...

Houston only beat Dallas 1/4 times, but only once did Houston field a fully healthy team. Injuries are part of sports, but Houston can be dangerous in the playoffs if Yao, McGrady, & Wells are all ready to go. Dallas is very good, no doubt, but right now it is all for seeding. See what happens in 2 months...

I don't know what's going to happen in the playoffs, but Dallas is pretty clearly distanced themselves from the rest of the West.

Hard to judge how either team will be in the playoffs, in all 4 games a main contributor for either one of the teams didn't play.

True, but I would not value Devean George the same as Yao Ming. Yao has gotten much better & maybe the best center in the league now, while George is a solid contributor. Losing Dirk or Howard would be much closer in team value. Still say Dallas is just a little better when all things are equal though. Terry is far superior to Alston, etc. But, anything can happen in the playoffs, & the West is loaded with Dallas, Phoenix, SA, Rockets, Jazz, etc.
