For me it is James Dean..NOw YES he had the talent..BUT he is a legend because of what he COULD have become. I just think because of his death we dont know how good he would have turned out to be as far as his TOTAL work.

Others?

Tom Cruise has the talent..but your right it is wasted now..But watch Born on Fourth of July, and he is amazing.

I have seen Born on the Fourth of July and he was amazing in that, same with Rainman

but aside from those two movies he's flushed it all away by being all crazy....

as for James Dean, East of Eden is just far too amazing to hate the guy for his goodlooks and charm

Eddie Murphy...hilarious as "Donkey" in Shrek, but outside of that, hasn't been in a good movie since "The Nutty Professor".

Tim Allen: Great on Home Improvement; not funny anywhere else.

Nicholas Cage. I loved him in Leaving Las Vegas but after Con Air I cannot even get through 5 minutes of him.

at least dane cook can make you laugh by stuff you actually do

as for jack black he's one of those people who is like, "ooh maybe if i pretend to go flying through the air and hit myself and act like it hurt i might make people laugh" his comedy is intended for like 9 month olds to 3 yrs

I mean...I always thought those who fould him funny had the mentally of them...maybe I'm right

Ben Affleck hands down. He is still riding Matt Damon's coattails.

Nicholas Cage tries too hard for me too.
