Video Editor

Does anyone know of a good video editor that I can get for free. I just really need to be able to easily delete some clips with in a video.

ulead is somewhat ok and cheap, but Power Director Pro is great. its what i use. i use an older version though and it works fine.

Windows Video maker will not read the file........which makes no sence whatsoever since its a windows media file

Make sure you start a new project, then on the left on a little task bar going down the side of the screen there should be something for importing video. You can't just do file>open
